Job summary

Nyman Associates is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to support students' communication and academic success in a collaborative school setting. This role offers guidance, tools, and a supportive environment to grow, whether you are new or experienced as an SLPA.

You will provide therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP, implement treatment plans, collect progress data, and collaborate with teachers and families to help students meet IEP goals.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or equivalent coursework in communication sciences and disorders.
• State SLPA license or credential (if applicable) or in the process of applying.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
• Implement treatment plans designed by supervising SLPs.
• Support students in achieving IEP goals through therapy activities.
• Collect and document data on student progress.
• Assist with preparation of therapy materials and activities.
• Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families as directed by the supervising SLP.

Education
