Job summary

Nyman Associates is seeking a School Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a school-based setting. The role involves conducting assessments, diagnosing communication disorders, and delivering evidence-based therapy to help students achieve their communication and academic goals.

Ideal candidates hold an M.A./M.S. in Communication Disorders (ASHA‑recognized) with CCCs, and an active state SLP license or the ability to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited university with an M.A. or M.S. in Communication Disorders recognized by ASHA.
• ASHA CCC's.
• State SLP License or in the process of applying for a License.
• Teaching certificate (if applicable) or ability to obtain

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and diagnose communication disorders
• Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy
• Develop and implement IEP goals
• Monitor student progress and collect data
• Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families
