Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to empower students with communication needs. Work closely with the SLP to support assessment, intervention, and AAC device management, following IEP goals.

The role emphasizes collaboration, data collection, and multidisciplinary engagement to improve classroom communication outcomes. Competitive pay and flexible schedules are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Communication Sciences and Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid licensure as an Assistant in Speech-Language Pathology by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).
• Current CPR certification.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluation and intervention: support assessment and treatment of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
• Implement therapy plans designed by the supervising SLP.
• Monitor and maintain AAC devices for students.
• Data collection and reporting of student progress and outcomes.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, such as IEP discussions.
