Job summary

Angel of the Winds Casino Resort in Arlington, WA seeks a skilled technician to service and repair slot machines and gaming equipment, troubleshoot PC hardware and software, and maintain repair logs while delivering exceptional guest service on a fast-paced gaming floor.

The role requires strong customer service, communication, problem solving, and the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays. Casino experience and a basic electronic/mechanical background are preferred.

Qualifications

• Customer service oriented with excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently.
• Professional, courteous, and effective working relationships with all levels of the organization.
• Proven intermediate skills in Windows and MS Office; experience with databases.
• Casino experience preferred.
• Basic electronic/mechanical background required.
• Knowledge of Slot machine functions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs and service requirements necessary for slot machines and related gaming equipment.
• Maintain an understanding of PC hardware and software to troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment.
• Safely and effectively operate basic shop tools including hand tools, soldering equipment, and electronic test equipment.
• Maintain proper documentation on department repair logs, shift logs, PM logs, etc.
• Identify or prevent future equipment problems through proactive measures.
• Complete machine moves and other projects as assigned.
• Respond to gaming floor calls within 3 minutes, while providing exceptional guest service.
• Gain understanding of parts ordering and stocking systems.
• Follow policies and procedures related to technical operations; suggest improvements for safety and efficiency.
• Help maintain cleanliness of gaming floor.
• Work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
