SUMMARY:

The Slot Technician troubleshoots and provides maintenance of all gaming equipment components for Electronic Games, Keno and Bingo networks and associated assemblies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Level I
Machine Maintenance and Repair:
  • Identify and troubleshoot technical issues with electronic gaming machines.
  • Replace faulty components and parts to repair machines and ensure minimal downtime.
Machine Setup and Configuration:
  • Assist in setting up and configuring new electronic gaming machines.
  • Install and update software, including game themes and promotional content.
  • Ensure machines are configured to meet regulatory requirements.
Workstations, Kiosks, and Other Gaming Equipment
  • Install, repair, and maintain peripheral devices associated with gaming.
  • Work on other gaming equipment such as Keno, Bingo, ETGs, & Sportsbook
User Administration & Reporting
  • Enter secure rooms to export reports from different systems with varying applications.
  • Administer user accounts for different applications, including Active Directory
Customer Service:
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Assist attendants with machine operation and routine functions.
Compliance and Regulation:
  • Follow all gaming regulations, including reporting any irregularities to regulators.
  • Keep accurate records of machine maintenance, repairs, and activities.
Preventive Maintenance:
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on a regular schedule to avoid machine breakdowns.
  • Clean and inspect slot machines for signs of wear and tear, replacing worn components.
Inventory Management:
  • Maintain an inventory of machine parts and supplies.
  • Order and restock spare parts and consumables as necessary.
Teamwork:
  • Collaborate with other slot technicians and casino staff to ensure a smooth gaming operation.
  • Participate in training sessions to stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies.

Performs all duties of Level I, plus

Level II
Machine Maintenance and Repair:
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of electronic gaming machines.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on a regular basis to minimize machine downtime.
  • Oversee the replacement of complex machine components and parts.
Machine Setup and Configuration:
  • Assist in setting up and configuring new electronic gaming machines.
  • Program and update software for game themes, promotional content, and compliance.
  • Ensure machines are correctly configured to meet regulatory requirements.
Workstations, Kiosks, and Other Gaming Equipment
  • Install, repair, and maintain peripheral devices associated with gaming.

  • Ensure strict adherence to gaming regulations and promptly report any non-compliance or irregularities to the appropriate authorities.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of machine maintenance, repairs, and compliance-related activities.
Preventive Maintenance:
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on a regular schedule to avoid machine breakdowns.
  • Clean and inspect slot machines for signs of wear and tear, replacing worn components.
Inventory Management:
  • Manage an inventory of machine parts and supplies.
  • Order and restock spare parts and consumables, maintaining accurate records.
Technical Support:
  • Provide technical support to Slot Technician I staff and other casino personnel in diagnosing and resolving complex machine issues.
  • Collaborate with machine manufacturers or vendors for advanced technical assistance.
  • Assist end users with gaming applications.
Team Leadership:
  • Guide Slot Technician I personnel, assigning tasks, and ensuring efficient operations.
  • Participate with the MIS Manager in the development of training programs and mentoring to improve the skills and knowledge of junior technicians.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES Level I /II
  • Willingness to work in a 24/7 casino environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

S.I.G.E. TRIBAL - STATE COMPACT & ACCOUNTING & INTERNAL CONTROL
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for Internal Control and Compact compliance regarding LCCR Operations and ensure compliance with regulations of the Tribal Gaming Commission.
