Job summary

Job description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Perform routine maintenance on slot machines
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic problems with slot machines
• Replace faulty parts and components as needed
• Test machines to ensure they are functioning properly
• Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed
• Communicate with other members of the casino staff to ensure that all machines are functioning properly
• Provide excellent customer service to casino patrons
• Handle routine guest complaints and incidents, and exhibit the appropriate discretion to identify situations requiring the attention of supervisory personnel – seek to resolve all situations in a manner that maintains positive guest relationships.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts may change.

Other duties as assigned.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL EFFORTS

• The hospitality industry is a 24 Hour 365-day operation.
• This position will primarily be indoor under controlled temperatures.
• Occasional exposure to outdoor climates
• Occasional: standing, walking, kneeling, reaching, pulling, pushing, and lifting up to 25 pounds
• Frequent: sitting, with repetitive movement of arms, hands, and fingers.
• Speech and Vision abilities are required.
• Target Hourly Rate: $17.00 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a state Gaming License (preferred)
• Able to effectively communicate in English via verbal and written (preferred)
• Must be able to work Nights, Weekends and Holidays (preferred)
• Must have strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, preferably in Excel (preferred)
• Must have 10-key experience (preferred)
• Knowledge of electronic and mechanical components (preferred)
• Must be 21 years of age or older (preferred)
• Previous experience in troubleshooting and repairing slot machines, preferred.
• Bachelor's degree, preferred (preferred)
• High School Diploma/GED, required (preferred)
