Job summary

Bally's Interactive in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a maintenance technician for slot machines. You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic problems, and replace faulty parts to keep machines operating smoothly.

Test machines to ensure proper function, keep accurate records of repairs, and communicate with casino staff to guarantee all units work reliably. The position requires a flexible schedule, including late nights, weekends, and holidays, with shifts

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on slot machines to prevent malfunctions and downtime.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic issues with slot machines to restore operations.
• Replace faulty parts and components and test replacements for proper function.
• Test machines to ensure they are functioning properly after maintenance or repairs.
• Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed for maintenance history.
• Communicate with casino staff to ensure all machines are functioning properly and downtime is minimized.
• Provide excellent customer service to casino patrons and assist with machine-related inquiries.
• Handle routine guest complaints and incidents, escalating to supervisory staff when necessary to maintain guest relations.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts may change.
• Other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Perform routine maintenance on slot machines
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic problems with slot machines
• Replace faulty parts and components as needed
• Test machines to ensure they are functioning properly
• Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed
• Communicate with other members of the casino staff to ensure that all machines are functioning properly
• Provide excellent customer service to casino patrons
• Handle routine guest complaints and incidents, and exhibit the appropriate discretion to identify situations requiring the attention of supervisory personnel - seek to resolve all situations in a manner that maintains positive guest relationships.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts may change.

Other duties as assigned.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL EFFORTS

• The hospitality industry is a 24 Hour 365-day operation.
• This position will primarily be indoor under controlled temperatures.
• Occasional exposure to outdoor climates
• Occasional: standing, walking, kneeling, reaching, pulling, pushing, and lifting up to 25 pounds
• Frequent: sitting, with repetitive movement of arms, hands, and fingers.
• Speech and Vision abilities are required.
• Target Hourly Rate: $17.21 per hour
