Job summary

Boyd Gaming is seeking a Slot Department Supervisor to oversee slot service personnel on shift, ensure security of funds, and enforce policies in line with regulations.

You will manage schedules, handle customer disputes, perform minor repairs, and maintain accurate records. The role requires strong communication, supervisory experience, and the ability to work in a casino environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in gaming with a focus on slots.
• Minimum of 2 years of related management experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills; work on both office and casino floor.
• Ability to obtain/maintain required licenses and/or certifications.

Job Description

Supervise Slot department personnel during assigned shift. Ensure the security and accountability of slot funds. Review and evaluate personnel and ensure all policies and procedures are followed in accordance with Company policies and procedures and applicable gaming regulations.

Job Functions

• Supervise, instruct, and evaluate slot service personnel in the proper performance of job duties.
• Respond to and resolve customer disputes / complaints.
• Perform minor repairs to gaming devices, including but not limited to clearing jams, resetting machines, and verifying jackpots.
• Accurately complete written department forms and records detailing payment of jackpots, cash coin transactions, machine malfunctions, etc. in a timely manner.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and implement work schedule in response to business demands.
• Maintain secure key controls at all times.
• Develop, apply, and maintain a friendly, courteous rapport with customers and employees.
• Effectively communicate by two-way radio.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in gaming, with a concentration in slots, preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years of related management experience preferred.
• Must have excellent communication and customer service skills. Performance of this job will take place in both an office setting as well as the casino floor. Job holder will be exposed to certain casino-related environmental factors including but not limited to noise, second-hand smoke, and varied degrees of lighting.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
