Job summary

Boyd Gaming is seeking an experienced Slot Department Manager to lead the casino's slot floor operations in Las Vegas. You will oversee day-to-day activities, ensure policy adherence, coach and evaluate Slot Department staff, and resolve customer disputes to maintain service quality.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting involvement, and the ability to step in for the Director of Slots as needed. This position operates in both office and casino floor environments with ongoing

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in gaming, with a concentration in slots.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of related management experience preferred.
  • Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Job duties may be performed in an office and casino floor environment.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Slot Operations to ensure proper procedures are followed in accordance with company policy.
  • Supervise, hire, schedule, train, evaluate, coach, counsel, and terminate Slot Department personnel.
  • Resolve customer disputes arising in the Slot Department.
  • Submit Internal Control revisions to streamline Slot Operations.
  • Maintain knowledge of competitive Slot practice.
  • Utilize professional relationships to select, develop and motivate staff.
  • Evaluate and participate in the approval of customer credit.
  • Assist the Director of Slots in preparation of the departmental budget, and perform duties in the absence of the Director.
  • Perform slot department performance analyses, operations analyses, and related functions.

Job Description

  • Performance of this job will take place in both an office setting as well as the casino floor. Jobholder will be exposed to certain casino-relatedenvironmental factors including but not limited to noise, second-handsmoke, and varied degrees of lighting.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/orcertifications.
