Job summary

Hollywood Casino at Kansas Speedway is seeking a Slot Shift Supervisor to oversee daily operations in the Slot department. You will lead staff, ensure guest satisfaction, manage scheduling, and support budget initiatives while maintaining the integrity of casino operations.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work flexible shifts, including holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; knowledge of Slot operating systems.
• Ability to interact with guests, staff and resolve conflicts diplomatically.
• Flexibility to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and manage daily operations of a designated shift in the Slot department.
• Coordinate scheduling and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Assist in budget processes and monitor departmental performance against budget.
• Promote superior customer service and uphold company standards.
• Authorize/verify jackpot payments per procedures.
• Collaborate with the Shift Manager on strategies for service, layout, revenue growth.
• Engage with team members, address feedback and resolve issues.
• Maintain documentation, logs, schedules, and communications for Slots.
