Job summary

Pauma Band of Mission Indians is seeking a part-time casino attendant to service slot machines, perform hopper fills, verify hand pays, and complete the necessary paperwork. You will make currency exchanges for customers, provide machine operation information, and coordinate with technicians for repairs beyond an attendant’s scope.

Requirements include cash handling experience, fluent English, the ability to multitask, and a High School Diploma or GED.

• Previous cash handling experience and/or knowledge of cash handling procedures.

• Ability to work effectively with co-workers and the public.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Knowledge of effective money handling procedures.
• Ability to make change and mentally perform basic math calculations.
• Skill in managing multiple projects and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer assistance by performing minor maintenance to slot machines.
• Contact Slot Technicians to make repairs that cannot be completed by the attendant, provide accurate payment of machine credits to customers.
• Answer customer questions about machine operation and the Casino.
• Resolve customer problems and complaints.
• Performs minor maintenance of all internal kiosk units.
• Acknowledge jackpot winners and make the necessary arrangements for jackpot verification and payout.
• Make change for customers as needed; assist customer with other requests to always ensure customer satisfaction.

SUMMARY:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred).

LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, background investigation, and maintain a Pauma Gaming Commission License.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: (*Constantly, Frequently, Occasionally)

• Ability to lift, move and carry up to 60 pounds.
