Spotlight 29 Casino is seeking a Slot Supervisor to lead the Slot Department, uphold service standards, and coach team members. You will monitor jackpots, handle overrides, and ensure adherence to Gaming Rules and internal controls while maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction.
The role requires a high school diploma and supervisory experience, with flexible hours across multiple shifts in a 24/7 casino environment.
This position is responsible for assistingin the day to day operations of the Slot Department to ensure all customers are given proper customer service, setting the tone for the shift, training department staff, and ensuring all slot machines and equipment comply with established standards. The Slot Supervisor manages Slot Personnel and the department's daily operations. Adhere to the Tribal organization’s policies, procedures, and applicable laws. Set and uphold a high standard of the department/organizational expectations. Embrace the vision and achieve department goals by striving for operational excellence and relaying them to team members in a supportive manner.
Carry out supervisory responsibilities, which include, but are not limited to: training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; performance management; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems promptly. Ensure fair distribution of the workload amongst the team. Identifying challenges and roadblocks that hinder efficiency and the guest experience to improve practices.
Must be able to take the lead through ever-changing business climates and make complex decisions independently. Needs to have the ability to make sound, educated business decisions using strong judgment. Needs to solve problems proactively, to avoid delaying the resolution process. Must demonstrate strong ownership and initiative while performing all job duties.
