Job summary

Klöckner Pentaplast Europe GmbH & Co. KG in Virginia seeks a Slitting Supervisor to lead daily tasks in the Slitting department, promote safety, quality and continuous improvement, and empower a cross-functional team.

You will implement standard work, drive Lean initiatives, manage HSSE, 5S, and productivity, collaborate with HR and Process Engineers, and ensure production goals meet quality standards while developing talent and aligning with kp's values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; or 3–6 years related experience.
• Experience leading slitting or manufacturing teams.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily tasks in the Slitting department.
• Promote safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Develop standard work and procedures for the Slitting dept.
• Partner with HR to recruit and train staff.
• Ensure inventory control and proper labeling.
• Drive Lean manufacturing and 5S in the area.
