Thyssenkrupp Materials NA in the United States is seeking a experienced Slitter Operator for the 2nd shift. Join our team to operate slitting machines, ensure quality, and meet customer specifications in a fast-paced metals environment.

We offer a $23–$25 per hour pay range plus a $1.50 shift premium and a monthly gain share bonus up to $600. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and precision in material handling and processing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience operating industrial machinery, preferably slitting machines.
• Forklift certification and material handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate slitting machines per work order and setup notes.
• Safely set up equipment and run materials to customer specifications.
• Pull, inspect, and verify materials before processing.
• Record measurements and quality checks per sampling plan.
• Use forklifts and cranes to move materials (certified as Material Handler).
• Package materials per work instructions and identify scrap.
• Communicate with sales reps for order clarification when needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance and general clean-up duties.
• Maintain measuring tools, scales, and scanners; provide feedback.
