Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials NA is hiring for a safety‑minded Slitting Line Operator to join our production team on the warehouse floor. You will safely operate slitting line equipment, set up tooling, inspect coils, and maintain clean, organized work areas while recording data and ensuring quality.

The role requires basic math, reading/writing abilities, and lifting up to 40 lbs, with training on cranes and forklifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and write.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Perform basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate slitting line equipment per orders.
• Set up and adjust slitting equipment to meet production needs.
• Inspect coils and material before processing.
• Maintain clean and safe work area.
• Record inspection and production data.
• Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and material-handling equipment.
• Identify and track material throughout production.
• Support continuous improvement and safety policies.
