Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–2 years of production experience; metals industry preferred; slitter operator experience preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime, sometimes with short notice.
• Ability to read measuring devices.
• Basic math skills for measurement and calculations.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Physical ability to pass a medical/vision/hearing/mobility exam.
• Demonstrated reliable work history.
• Strong attention to detail and quality inspection.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines by reading work orders and adjusting materials to required lengths and specs.
• Operate the slitting machine, start/stop controls, and monitor for defects or malfunctions.
• Measure and inspect work pieces to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality.
• Perform routine maintenance and address minor issues as needed.
• Perform additional duties to support production efficiency and team goals.
