Qualifications

• Experience setting up and operating a slitter per customer specifications and production instructions.
• Ability to use tape measures, Rockwell tester, micrometers and calipers.
• Commitment to safety rules and requirements.
• Regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the slitter to meet customer specifications and production orders.
• Inspect and measure during and after processing to ensure quality.
• Record gauge width, hardness, camber, burr and surface condition.
• Assist maintenance with troubleshooting and PM as needed.
• Keep the work area clean and safe, remove scrap and load/unload material as required.
