Job summary

Lucky Strike Entertainment in Riverside, CA is seeking a part-time Slide Attendant to monitor loading areas, enforce safety rules, and educate guests on safety protocols. You will perform rescues as needed and stay prepared for emergencies while delivering a fun, safe guest experience.

The role requires 18+ age, completion of Ellis and Associates Dispatch training, CPR/First Aid certification, and a high school diploma or current enrollment. Perks start on day one.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor loading and unloading areas and enforce safety rules.
• Educate guests on safety protocols and posted warnings.
• Conduct rescues in accordance with lifeguard protocols.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain readiness at all times.
• Complete in-service training and stay slide-certified.
• Report safety concerns to the Lifeguard Supervisor.

WHAT OUR SLIDE ATTENDANTS DO

Our Slide Attendants are the guardians of fun and safety at our water attractions. You’ll monitor loading and unloading areas, enforce safety rules, and ensure every guest enjoys a secure and exciting experience.

A SLIDE ATTENDANT’S DAY-TO-DAY

• Monitor attraction loading and unloading areas and prevent injuries by proactively communicating with Guests and eliminating hazards.
• Enforce all safety and departmental rules while maintaining a polite and professional demeanor.
• Educate Guests on safety protocols and ensure all posted warning signs are adhered to.
• Conduct safe and effective rescues in accordance with training and lifeguard certification protocols.
• Maintain test-ready skills to respond to emergencies at all times.
• Participate in all required in-service training to maintain slide attendant certification.
• Be knowledgeable in completing live audits correctly.
• Report any safety concerns or incidents to the Lifeguard Supervisor immediately.
• Ensure all equipment is in good working order before use.
• Keep hip packs filled and prepared for emergency situations.
• Utilize and understand whistle signals for effective communication with team members.
• Work collaboratively with fellow team members to maintain a safe and enjoyable Guest experience.
• Remain alert and engaged throughout shifts to ensure a high level of safety awareness.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support park operations.

WHAT IT TAKES

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Must pass Ellis and Associates Dispatch training (provided by the company).
• Must pass CPR/First Aid certification.
• Ability to maintain focus and vigilance in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma, equivalent, or currently enrolled in high school.

WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Typical entertainment and waterpark environment where you’ll walk, bend, and stand for extended periods, and may lift objects with some assistance. You’ll work outdoors in various weather conditions and remain highly alert throughout your shift.

The pay rate for this position is $16.90 / hr.
