Job summary

Publix Super Markets is seeking a Production Associate to operate slicing equipment and support daily production. You will maintain sanitation, weigh and package products, label and track bulk inventory, and document equipment inspections.

The role requires adherence to GMPs and safety standards, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The position involves assisting production teams, completing paperwork, and collaborating with other departments to meet production needs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate slicing equipment and assemble/disassemble department gear.
• Maintain sanitation and GMP compliance in production areas.
• Measure, weigh, and package product accurately.
• Label bins and track inventory of bulk product.
• Document inspections and report safety or equipment issues.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and timely.
• Communicate production needs to other support areas.
• Assist operators with daily production tasks.

Year End Bonus

To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week's pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks' pay.
