Job summary

Isaac Morris Limited (IML) in New York City is seeking a Sleepwear Designer to create and develop sleepwear lines for licensed and branded programs. You will translate creative direction into production-ready samples, collaborating with licensing, art, production, and merchandising teams to ensure brand consistency.

The role requires hands-on experience with sleepwear construction, fabric hand, print placement, and packaging.

Qualifications

Design sleepwear collections for licensed and branded programs.
Deep knowledge of sleepwear fabrics, trims, construction and fit.
Strong merchandising sense to build sellable assortments.
Develop samples with overseas partners and communicate design intent clearly.
Proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop; strong CAD and presentation skills.
Ability to analyze market trends and translate into direction for lines.

Responsibilities

Interpret seasonal line direction into original sleepwear designs.
Collaborate with product development and overseas factory partners to develop samples.
Create and maintain artwork, CADs, and tech-ready design files.
Own tech packing, sketching, and fit review; maintain a design library.
Develop packaging and merchandising concepts that come to life at retail.
Build presentation decks for internal reviews and buyer meetings.
