  • Partner with the product development team and overseas factory partners to develop samples, ensuring correct fabric selection, construction, and print execution
  • Create and maintain artwork, CADs, and tech‑ready design files

  • Build polished presentation decks for internal reviews and buyer meetings, with strong attention to formatting and storytelling
  • Lead trend research and translate market analysis into actionable design direction
  • Comp shop and analyze the competitive landscape to keep our assortments ahead of the market
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with merchandising, sales, and licensing teams to ensure designs meet customer and licensor requirements
  • What You Bring: Proven experience designing sleepwear (loungewear, pajama sets, sleep separates); licensed apparel experience a strong plus
  • Deep understanding of sleepwear fabrications, trims, construction, and fit
  • A strong merchandising skillset — you understand what the customer needs and how to build an assortment that sells
  • Expertise developing samples with overseas partners and communicating clear, accurate design intent
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; strong CAD and presentation skills
  • Sharp eye for trend, color, and print, backed by disciplined market analysis
  • Excellent organization and communication; able to manage multiple programs on tight calendars
  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field, or equivalent experience
