Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Sleep Technologist to perform comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders, including in-center and home sleep apnea testing, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, and direct patient education. The role includes oversight of other sleep center staff as a credentialed technologist.

Requirements include an accredited program leading to a sleep technology certificate or associate degree, plus excellent communication skills and proficiency

Qualifications

• Successful completion of accredited program leading to certificate or associate degree in sleep technology or equivalent experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders including in-center and home sleep apnea testing.
• Provide diagnostic and therapeutic interventions and direct patient education.
• Oversee other sleep center staff as credentialed sleep technologist or supervisor.
