Job summary

Hudson Regional Hospital, located in Secaucus, NJ, seeks a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist for the Sleep Center. You will perform PSG, MSLT/MSLT, HST, and PAP titrations on adults and children under supervision, ensuring accurate data collection and patient safety.

The role requires a certificate/associate degree in sleep technology, at least two years of PSG experience, and required certifications including RPSGT/RST/SDS and BLS, with proficiency in medical terminology and computer

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Certificate or Associate degree in sleep technology or equivalent program.
• Two years of Polysomnographic Technologist experience.

Responsibilities

• Review patient data in preparation for a PSG.
• Hook patient up with electrodes and monitoring equipment for PSG.
• Monitor patients during PSG and document findings every half hour.
• Document dates of completion for PSG/CPAP/MSLT/MWT/HST interpretations and charges.
• Maintain clean work environment and infection control standards.
