Job summary

Allina Health in Hastings, MN is seeking a Polysomnographic Technologist to deliver comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders under physician guidance, including patient assessments, testing, scoring and education.

The role involves performing polysomnographic testing, applying electrodes, titrating therapy, scoring studies, data management and patient education; requires 0–2 years polysomnography experience, PAP devices knowledge, and BRPT eligibility.

Qualifications

• 0 to 2 years polysomnography experience.
• 0 to 2 years strong knowledge of PAP devices.
• 0 to 2 years able to assess patients, apply critical thinking and determine appropriate interventions.

Responsibilities

• Polysomnographic testing, scoring and follow up; applies electrodes, monitors, ensures artifact-free recordings and documents values.
• Educates patients on sleep disorders, testing procedures and operation of sleep disorder devices; complete paperwork and billing procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
