Job summary

Chicago ENT is seeking a Sleep Technologist to join our team across Skokie, Peterson and St. Elizabeth locations.

Work with the Sleep Medicine Director to conduct overnight, daytime, or home sleep studies for patients with known or suspected sleep disorders. The role is part-time; responsibilities include calibrating equipment, applying sensors, PAP mask fitting, patient education, and nightly monitoring with documentation, while travel to Chicagoland facilities is required.

Qualifications

• Able to work and troubleshoot independently.
• Excellent customer service skills and an elevated level of professionalism
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Multi-lingual, especially Spanish speaking
• One – Five years of clinical experience
• Versed on Natus/Embla/Sandman

Responsibilities

• Prepare and calibrate equipment required for testing.
• Determine that all instrumentation is functioning and adjust if necessary.
• Apply electrodes and sensors according to accepted published standard.
• Perform appropriate physiologic calibrations to ensure proper signals and make adjustments if necessary.
• Perform positive airway pressure (PAP) mask fitting.
• Educate and assist patient throughout the night to ensure excellent patient care.
• Monitor & document throughout the night, preferably at a 30-minute interval, to ensure comprehensive and quality recording for ordering physician.
• Work professionally with team members.
• Perform Pediatric and Adult testing.
• Willingness to travel to selected facilities within the Chicagoland area.
• Other Duties as assigned.
