Rutland Regional Medical Center in Rutland, VT, seeks a Sleep Technologist Apprentice for a full-time, 12-hour night shift (7pm-7am). You will be trained to set up and operate polysomnographic equipment for diagnosing sleep disorders and to score and report study results.
The role requires a high school diploma, an Associate’s in Health Sciences, customer service experience, and willingness to rotate shifts.
Under general supervision of the Center for Sleep Disorders leadership, the Sleep Technologist Apprentice will be trained for setting up and operating Polysomnographic equipment to be utilized in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep related disorders. In addition, the technologist will be trained to have a thorough understanding of all monitored parameters which are utilized in the computer scoring and preparation of Polysomnographic reports. Ability to institute and maintain life saving measures is required.
