Rutland Regional Medical Center in Rutland, VT is seeking a Polysomnographic Technologist to operate sleep study equipment and contribute to diagnostic testing. You will help monitor and score studies and prepare reports for physicians, ensuring accuracy and patient safety.
The role requires a high school diploma with an associate degree preferred, and CPSGT/BRPT/A-STEP certifications, plus BLS. Night shift, full-time, 7pm-7am, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality care.
Under general supervision of the Director or Medical Director, the Polysomnographic Technologist is responsible for setting up and operating Polysomnographic equipment to be utilized in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep related disorders. In addition, the technologist must have a thorough understanding of all monitored parameters which are utilized in the computer scoring and preparation of Polysomnographic reports. Ability to institute and maintain life saving measures is required.
