Rutland Regional Medical Center is seeking a Sleep Technologist Apprentice for the Sleep Disorders Center. You will be trained to set up and operate polysomnographic equipment used in diagnosing sleep disorders, with a focus on understanding monitored parameters for scoring and report preparation.
Ability to initiate life-saving measures is required. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, an associate degree in Health Sciences, and customer service experience.
Under general supervision of the Center for Sleep Disorders leadership, the Sleep Technologist Apprentice will be trained for setting up and operating Polysomnographic equipment to be utilized in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep related disorders. In addition, the technologist will be trained to have a thorough understanding of all monitored parameters which are utilized in the computer scoring and preparation of Polysomnographic reports. Ability to institute and maintain life saving measures is required.
