UCLA Outpatient Clinics seeks a Sleep Technologist to conduct and evaluate sleep studies, ensuring accurate diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders. Responsibilities include real-time data scoring, equipment calibration, and monitoring patient safety throughout the study. Weekend and potential daytime shifts are required.
As a Sleep Technologist, you will conduct and evaluate overnight sleep studies including Polysomnograms (PSGs), Multiple Sleep Latency Tests (MSLTs), and Home Sleep Apnea Tests to support accurate diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders. This includes preparing and calibrating equipment, placing sensors, performing bio-calibrations, monitoring patients during testing, and ensuring safety throughout the study.
You’ll be responsible for real-time scoring of sleep data and generating summary reports for physician review. When appropriate, you will also initiate PAP titration or other treatments based on lab criteria.
This role may occasionally require daytime shifts to support MSLTs, pediatric and infant studies, scoring, and other assignments as needed. Weekend coverage at either the North Hollywood or Westwood location is required to meet operational needs.
Salary Range: $38.57-50.93/hr
