Already an industry leader in healthcare services, we provide home respiratory services and select medical equipment to help our patients sleep better, breathe better, heal faster, and thrive longer.***JOB SUMMARY**Responsible for equipment setup and instruction while providing exceptional customer service.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*** May have to communicate or interact with patients of all ages.* Documents all interaction with patients/customers in their record.* Listens and resolves complaints and escalates to the appropriate personnel as warranted.* Preps for setups and sets equipment to prescribed therapy.* Identifies and provides appropriate interface for mask application.* Educates patients and other end users with relation to their home medical equipment use by covering mechanical operating features, fitting and application of apparatus, routine cleaning/disinfecting, warranty, and safety. Demonstrations of equipment use may be provided to patients by using pictures, video, or on manikins (i.e., not touching the patient).* Answers inquiries and follows up with patients regarding technical issues with equipment.* Educate patients regarding any applicable insurance payor equipment utilization requirements.* Encourages patients with their therapy and compliance with equipment usage.* Promotes safe, effective patient and organizational environments and equipment use.* Collects and processes payments from patients.* Completes all paperwork relating to delivery, pick up, exchange, repair/replace, and additional forms as deemed necessary.* Performs other duties as required.**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES*** N/AMINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**Education and/or Experience*** High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.* Two years in person customer service interaction required.**SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES*** Customer/Patient-Focused: You start with the customer/patient and work backwards.
