Medical City Decatur Sleep Therapy team is seeking a Sleep Therapist to conduct and interpret sleep studies, contribute to patient education, and deliver treatment per the care plan. The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-focused care within a collaborative hospital setting.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BCLS certifications must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RPSGT or CPSGT certification must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• Required training as a Registered or Certified Polysomnographic Technician.
• Continuing education in sleep diagnostics required per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform and plan sleep studies and evaluate outcomes of care.
• Provide direct patient care and educate patients and families.
• Provide and adjust therapeutic treatments per prescribed plan.
• Manage clinical aspects of sleep diagnostics and maintain accuracy with policies.
• Interact professionally with patients, families and medical staff at all times.
