Community Health Systems is seeking a Sleep Technologist to administer sleep studies under physician direction and collect specimens for analysis. The role involves scoring records, documenting results, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.

You will perform comprehensive patient assessments, calibrate equipment, and communicate findings to physicians for diagnostic evaluation. This is a part-time night shift position in Enterprise, AL, requiring RPSGT or CPSGT

Qualifications

• RPSGT - Registered Polysomnographic Technologist or CPSGT - Certified Polysomnographic Technician required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required

Responsibilities

• Conduct sleep studies under physician direction according to protocols
• Perform patient assessments and monitor physiologic data
• Score sleep records and communicate findings to physicians
• Collect and transmit biological specimens for analysis
• Document results and patient data per policies
• Maintain and calibrate sleep study equipment
• Educate patients about sleep studies
