Job summary

Intermountain Health in Grand Junction, CO is seeking a Certified Polysomnographic Sleep Technologist (CPSGT) to perform and coordinate physiologic sleep studies, ensuring accurate monitoring, documentation, and patient care. You will operate with minimal supervision, addressing technical and interpersonal challenges and coordinating with the sleep medicine team.

The role requires CPSGT certification, BLS, and flexibility to work day shifts with potential night coverage.

Qualifications

• Requires CPSGT credential and valid BLS certification.
• Willing to work varying shifts, including night shifts.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Experience in sleep study settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and documents sleep studies and related patient care.
• Monitors equipment and supplies and maintains records.
• Completes charting and documentation.
• Performs overnight polysomnography and HSAT procedures.
• Addresses technical and interpersonal problems and communicates with the care team.
• Aims to obtain 10 CECs related to sleep medicine annually.
