Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Sleep Lab PSG Technician in Park City, UT to perform overnight polysomnographic studies and HSATs, monitor patients, and ensure accurate recording per AASM guidelines.

Responsibilities include supervising PSG Tech and CPSGT, addressing technical and interpersonal issues, documenting care, and maintaining equipment while providing mentorship and quality sleep medicine services.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
BLS or RQI for Healthcare Providers required.
Current RPSGT/RST or CRT license in the practicing state may be required.

Responsibilities

Perform overnight Polysomnographic studies using various PAP therapy modes.
Perform Home Sleep Apnea Tests (HSAT).
Monitor and document on patients undergoing physiologic studies.
Monitor and track equipment and supplies.
Complete record keeping and charting.
Address and solve technical and interpersonal problems.
Demonstrate effective communication skills.
Use computerized and mechanical equipment efficiently.
Score Studies per AASM guidelines.
Obtain 10 Continuing Education Credits related to sleep medicine annually.
Provide supervision, mentorship, and orientation/education to PSG Tech and CPSGT.
