Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is hiring a PSG Technologist in New Jersey to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders, including in-center and home sleep apnea testing.

You will perform studies, calibrate equipment, score Sleep/Wake stages, and educate patients, while adhering to AASM standards and safety protocols.

Minimum certification in polysomnography and a certificate/associate in sleep technology are required; excellent communication and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Accredited educational program in sleep technology (certificate/associate)
• Registered/certified sleep technologist credentials required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up sleep studies for in-center or home sleep apnea testing.
• Calibrate and apply sensors/electrodes following standards; manage data quality.
• Score sleep stages and clinical events per AASM guidelines; generate reports.
• Educate patients and ensure safety procedures are followed; maintain equipment.
