Responsibilities

• Measures brain wave activity and physiological signals during sleep tests.
• Attaches electrodes and sensors as requested by physician and procedures.
• Operates video monitoring and records sleep activities during tests.
• Recognizes abnormal patterns and notifies physician or emergency personnel.
• Records observations on graphs and documents measurement details.
• Inserts data into computer systems and compiles patient reports.
• Conducts sleep studies on adults and pediatric patients or training.
• Maintains independent patient interaction and care during testing.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
