The Polysomnographic Technologist works under the general supervision of the ClinicalDirector (MD, DO, or PhD, or designee) to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment ofsleep disorders. This may involve polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services orpatient care and education. A Polysomnographic Technologist can perform the duties to find fora polysomnographic technician and may provide supervision of other staff.

• Associate Degree with an emphasis on polysomnography,or successful completion of polysomnography program ofno less than one year duration from an accreditededucational facility.

OR

• Equivalent experience and documented proficiency at allcompetencies required of polysomnographic technician andcertified by the Board of Registered PolysomnographicTechnologist as a Registered PolysomnographicTechnologist or equivalent.
• BLS certification through AHA required.
• RPSGT or RST required within 6 months of eligibility date
