Job summary

Graham Health System is seeking a PRN Polysomnographic Technologist to join the Sleep Lab team. The role involves working the 3rd shift (7:00pm-7:00am) with days varying M-F, conducting polysomnography and related patient care under supervision of the Clinical Director.

Requirements include an associate degree in polysomnography or equivalent training, BLS, and RPSGT/RST within 6 months. Compensation information will be discussed; pay grade listed as 3000 with wages determined by experience.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree with an emphasis on polysomnography or completion of a polysomnography program of at least one year.
• BLS certification through AHA is required.
• RPSGT or RST certification required within 6 months of eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders.
• Perform polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services, and patient care/education.
• Supervise staff as needed and oversee polysomnography technicians.

The Polysomnographic Technologist works under the general supervision of the Clinical Director (MD, DO, or PhD, or designee) to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. This may involve polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services or patient care and education. A Polysomnographic Technologist can perform the duties to find for a polysomnographic technician and may provide supervision of other staff.

• Associate Degree with an emphasis on polysomnography, or successful completion of polysomnography program of no less than one year duration from an accredited educational facility.

OR

• Equivalent experience and documented proficiency at all competencies required of polysomnographic technician and certified by the Board of Registered PolysomnographicTechnologist as a Registered PolysomnographicTechnologist or equivalent.
• BLS certification through AHA required.
• RPSGT or RST required within 6 months of eligibility date.
