Job Opportunity: Sleep Medicine Physician

The Jefferson Sleep Disorders Center and Jefferson Sleep Medicine Network at the Vickie & Jack Farber Institute for Neuroscience at Thomas Jefferson University are accepting applications for a full-time physician specializing in sleep medicine at the associate professor or professor level. Applicants must have:

• MD or DO degree
• Board certification in sleep medicine and a primary qualifying specialty by the American Board of Medical Specialties
• 7-10 years of clinical practice in an AASM-accredited sleep medicine setting
• At least 7 years in a complex medical leadership role, preferably in sleep medicine
• Experience in an academic or teaching environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Leadership, supervision, and management of the Jefferson Sleep Disorders Center, including outpatient clinics, inpatient consultations, and a state-of-the-art sleep laboratory
• Leadership of the Jefferson Sleep Medicine Network across multiple hospitals and centers
• Clinical evaluation and management of sleep-disordered patients, including review and interpretation of polysomnography studies
• Academic duties including supervision, mentorship, teaching, and research development within the department at Sidney Kimmel Medical College

The position reports to the President/CEO of the Farber Institute for Neuroscience and the Chair of the academic department representing the candidate's discipline. Academic appointments are through Sidney Kimmel Medical College.
