Marquette General Hospital in Marquette, MI is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) for Sleep Medicine to join our clinic team. This full-time day position focuses on direct patient care, diagnostic procedures, specimen collection, and efficient administrative support.

Ideal candidates will hold a High School diploma, be a Registered Medical Student or Certified Medical Assistant, and have BLS-HCP certification. Clinic experience is preferred in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Registered Medical Student or Certified Medical Assistant credentials preferred.
• One-year related clinic experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP) required.

Responsabilités

• Provides direct and individualized care to clinic patients.
• Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection; monitors and communicates changes in patient condition.
• Maintains equipment, supplies, examination areas and reorders as needed; cleans and troubleshoots.
• Performs administrative duties such as filing, reception, scheduling, data entry and patient registration.
