Job summary

Summa Health in Akron, OH seeks a dedicated Polysomnography Technologist to perform high quality sleep studies as prescribed by physicians. The role requires certification within one year (RST/RPSGT/SDS) and a program of study in sleep technology, with day shift scoring experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a sleep technology program or equivalent experience and proficiency for all competencies required of a RPSGT/RST.
• Certification within one year by a nationally recognized certification board and holds either the Registered Sleep Technologist (RST), Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT), or Sleep Disorders Specialist (SDS) credential.
• Scoring experience preferred (day shift).

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality polysomnography studies as prescribed by physicians according to established policy and procedures as well as evidence based medicine or board recommended best practice.
