Community Health Systems, Inc. seeks a Sleep Lab Technician to perform comprehensive sleep disorder evaluations, including polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services, and patient education.

This role supports the Sleep Lab team under supervision, ensuring accurate data collection and high-quality patient care. The position requires familiarity with polysomnographic techniques, data analysis, and precise adherence to protocols.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of polysomnography or related sleep study experience.
• RPSGT certification required.
• BCLS certification required.

Responsabilités

• Collects and analyzes patient data to determine testing parameters with ordering physician input.
• Prepares, calibrates, and adjusts sleep lab equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Applies electrodes and sensors, performs calibrations, and conducts PAP mask fitting.
• Conducts tests such as MSLT, MWT, and oxygen titration with accurate data collection.
• Monitors data quality and resolves artifacts to maintain signal integrity.
• Documents sleep stages, events, and occurrences for scoring and interpretation.
• Assists with patient-specific therapeutic interventions including PAP and oxygen therapy.
• Scores sleep stages and events and generates reports for physician review.
• Provides age-appropriate care and education to a diverse patient population.
