The Charles George Veterans Affairs Medical Center Sleep Disorders Center in Asheville, NC, seeks a Medical Instrument Technician to independently operate neurodiagnostic equipment and support CPAP, Home Sleep Testing, and Nighttime Sleep clinics.

You will perform overnight sleep studies, MSLT, PAP titration, and remote monitoring, review records, and ensure quality diagnostics while adhering to SDC policies and procedures.

Qualifikationen

• Education recognized by the U.S. Department of Education for federal employment.
• For foreign-educated applicants, a Certificate of Foreign Equivalency must accompany transcripts.
• Accredited colleges/universities or institutions are required.

Aufgaben

• Perform overnight sleep studies and polysomnography.
• Conduct MSLT and home sleep testing.
• Perform PAP titration, maintenance, and remote monitoring.
• Review medical records and document abnormalities during procedures.
• Operate diagnostic equipment including EEG/EKG and sleep devices.
