Job summary

Methodist Hospital is seeking a Polysomnographic Technologist Team Lead to join the Sleep team. The role involves performing and evaluating overnight polysomnograms, monitoring equipment, and ensuring patient safety with appropriate interventions.

The technologist will review recordings, score sleep stages, and generate concise reports. A degree in polysomnography with 3–5 years of scoring experience and BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with emphasis in polysomnography.
• Three to five years of scoring experience.
• Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist.
• Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support.

Responsibilities

• Perform and evaluate overnight polysomnograms under medical supervision.
• Record sleep/wake physiology and monitor of recording equipment.
• Prepare reports summarizing sleep/wake stages and clinical events.
