Job summary

Methodist Hospital is seeking a Polysomnographic Technologist Team Lead to join our Sleep team. This role combines advanced polysomnography duties with lab leadership and mentorship for technologists working overnight.

You will record sleep/wake physiology, supervise equipment setup, and ensure patient safety. You will review studies, score recordings, generate reports, and participate in improving protocols and patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with an emphasis in polysomnography.
• Three to five years of scoring experience.
• Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist.
• Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support

Responsibilities

• Perform and evaluate overnight polysomnograms.
• Operate recording equipment and ensure patient safety.
• Record review and scoring of polysomnograms and generate reports.
• Monitor sleep/wake physiology and respond to events.
