Job summary

National Jewish Health in Denver, CO seeks a Sleep Technician to perform diagnostic sleep studies and support physicians in evaluating sleep disorders. You will assist with patient prep, vitals, and documentation in EMR, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires BRPT CPSGT certification (or equivalent), BLS, and a commitment to continuing education. You will operate sleep equipment, use sleep software, and participate in quality improvement within the Sleep Lab.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associates/Bachelors preferred.
• Minimum 6 months healthcare patient care experience.
• CPSGT certification by BRPT and/or equivalent; BLS required; RPSGT within 1 year of hire or 6 months of eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality diagnostic sleep study testing to assist physician in diagnosis of sleep disorders.
• Assists with preparing patients for examination; obtain vitals and document results in EMR.
• Prepares and completes all required documentation thoroughly and accurately.
• Operates and maintains sleep study equipment per safety policies.
• Proficient with sleep software and EMR navigation.

Education

Certification by BRPT CPSGT; BLS required
