Job summary

Community Health Systems is seeking Sleep Lab Technicians to conduct comprehensive evaluations and treatments of sleep disorders, including polysomnography and therapeutic services. The Sleep Lab Technician will work under general supervision, ensuring quality patient care and accurate data collection in a hospital-based setting.

The role requires 0–2 years of experience in polysomnography, knowledge of diagnostic procedures, and the ability to follow established protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience in polysomnography or sleep study setting.
• Ability to analyze data and identify abnormalities.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to protocols.
• Effective patient interaction and data documentation.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and integrate patient data to determine testing parameters.
• Prepare and calibrate sleep lab equipment and perform calibrations.
• Apply electrodes and sensors and conduct PAP mask fitting.
• Score sleep stages and clinical events according to guidelines.
• Monitor data quality and resolve artifacts during recordings.
