Job summary

Mattress Firm is hiring Sleep Experts to help customers find their dream mattress and achieve better sleep. You will engage customers in-store, provide product knowledge, and drive sales while upholding company values.

This is a full-time, on-site role with uncapped commissions and a 401(k) match. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, mental health resources, and employee discounts on sleep products.

Qualifications

• Provide excellent customer service and build rapport with shoppers.
• Explain product features and help customers select suitable mattresses.
• Meet or exceed individual sales KPIs and participate in team goals.

Responsibilities

• Create customer-centric environment in-store and nurture relationships.
• Share product knowledge and act as subject-matter expert for mattresses and sleep products.
• Drive sales performance and KPIs while aligning with company values.
• Maintain relationships after purchase (delivery reminders, issue resolution).
• Monitor competitor offerings and promotions to inform customers.

Job Details

• Create an environment where the customer is always at the center by cultivating strong relationships.
• Provide technical and product knowledge information to customers and serve as subject matter expert.
• Drive individual sales performance and KPIs while demonstrating company values and supporting company initiatives.
• Maintain customer relationships during and after purchase (resolve customer issues, send delivery reminders, etc.).
• Maintain awareness of the competition, advertisements and services offered by competitors.
• Leverage social media to positively impact brand awareness and increase sales.
• Lift, push, or pull 50+ pounds.

Compensation

Competitive pay range of $51,000-$63,000 * depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities may be available and awarded at the discretion of the Company.
