Job summary

Apex Home Health, Hospice & Home Care is seeking a Sleep Technologist to perform PSG, titration, MSLT, and MWT studies to support diagnosis of sleep disorders. You will record and analyze data, communicate findings to physicians, and educate patients on therapy options.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program in Electroneurodiagnostic or Respiratory Technology preferred.
• At least two years of experience in sleep disorders preferred.
• Certification within two years or enrollment in accredited polysomnography training programs.
• Licensure in applicable states with continuing education and BLS certification within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Recording and analyzing sleep data, providing information to physicians for diagnosis and treatment.
• Educating patients on prescribed therapies and following up as necessary.
• Operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining sleep testing equipment.
• Monitoring and documenting patient data per facility guidelines.
• Understanding disease processes and supervising students or staff as needed.
