• Licensure in applicable states with continuing education and BLS certification within 60 days.

Seeking a qualified Sleep Technologist to perform diagnostic polysomnographic (PSG), titration, MSLT, and MWT studies to aid in diagnosing sleep/wake disorders.

Responsibilities Include

• Recording and analyzing sleep data, providing accurate information to physicians for patient diagnosis and treatment.
• Educating patients on prescribed therapies and following up when necessary.
• Operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining sleep testing equipment, ensuring safety and compliance with standards.
• Monitoring and documenting patient data per facility guidelines.
• Understanding disease processes, working with diverse age groups, and supervising students or staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program in Electroneurodiagnostic or Respiratory Technology preferred.
• At least two years of experience in sleep disorders preferred.
• Knowledge of sleep disorders, electrical safety, and proficiency with computers for data management.
• Certification requirements include RPSGT or Sleep Disorder Specialty (RRT-SDS) within two years or enrollment in accredited polysomnography training programs.
• Licensure in applicable states, with mandatory continuing education and BLS certification within 60 days.
